Builder. Designer. Maker. I've been a VP of Digital Strategy & UX, a Director at a global agency, a Client Principal at a custom dev shop, and now run product & marketing at a healthcare tech startup. I've shipped work for United Healthcare, Amtrak, Kawasaki, Roche, the Chicago Blackhawks, and a bunch of scrappy startups in between. I've had to stay on the edge of what tech can do the whole time and still preferred a pen & paper notebook to track my thoughts, ideas, dreams, goals, and todos. Mostly because every system was just too much of an actual pain to use day to day.
MyCapsul started as a personal dashboard I built to manage my own life — budget, schedule, custody calendar, goals, all of it. I was tired of scattered apps (and scraps of paper) that didn't talk to each other and didn't understand my context. So I built something that did.
When Anthropic released Claude Desktop, specifically Cowork — the ability to give an AI agent access to local files — everything clicked. Suddenly, a local HTML file could become a dashboard & operating system for my life, powered by an agent that actually knows me.
Why I built this
I have ADHD. I'm a single dad. I run a tight budget. I have a hundred things competing for my attention at any given moment — and I don't have a personal assistant, an executive coach, or a team to fall back on.
What I do have is a system that works. MyCapsul is that system, packaged up so anyone can use it. It's not a productivity app that guilts you into streaks. It's not a task manager that assumes you have unlimited time. It's a life dashboard that meets you where you are — and an AI agent that learns how your life actually works.
Every feature exists because I needed it. The budget tracker, the custody-aware scheduling, the journal, the project system — all of it came from real problems I was solving for myself.
